CUB SCOUTS
Thursday, 6.30pm - 8.00pm |

|
Cub Scouts are boys and girls aged between eight and ten years old. There are loads of fun things that Cub Scouts do. They can try swimming, exploring, computing, and collecting. If they do them properly, just like with Beaver Scouts and Scouts, they will get a badge to proudly display on their unifom.
Cub Scouts also go on trips and days out, to places, such as the zoo, theme parks, or farms. Sometimes you will be able to go camping with rest of the Pack. This will mean they get a chance to sleep in tents and do loads of outdoor activities.
THE LEADERS
All Leaders names are taken from characters in The Jungle Book by Rudyard Kipling. Kipling and Baden Powell (the Founder of Scouting) were good friends and Baden-Powell believed the characters in The Jungle Book reflected qualities of different Leaders.
Below, we not only show who each Leader is, but tell you some more about their character.

WE HAVE ABOUT 90 YEARS EXPERIENCE BETWEEN US
IF WE DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU WANT, WHO ELSE DOES?
We enjoy activities such as camping and aim to do three camps a year.
Our programmes tend to follow many of the calendar dates, such as national holidays and celebrations. We have had meetings on Chinese New Year and Christmas, as well as Mothers Day and Easter. We don't just follow the holidays though. We also aim to keep Scouting at the basics, and teach knotting, orienteering, and much more, but above all else...life skills!
'Scouting makes life an adventure again'
