Beaver Scouts are young people aged between six and eight years old. They belong to the first and youngest Section in the Scouting family.
Easily recognised by their distinctive turquoise sweatshirts, Beaver Scouts enjoy making friends, playing games, going on visits and helping others.
We name some of our Leaders after characters from the Winnie the Pooh stories by A.A.Milne and others by other animal names, just because we like it that way!

Rabbit BEAVER SCOUT LEADER
Like his character in the stories, he can be
stubborn, but really he's very nice. |

Tigger
ASSISTANT BEAVER SCOUT LEADER
Can be very bouncy and happy and
tries to get everybody involved. |

Piglet
ASSISTANT BEAVER SCOUT LEADER
Very small (about two foot, we think!). Can
seem scared, but has a heart of gold

Kanga
COLONY ASSISTANT
Deals with the money. The mother figure and
voice of reason and security. We like her! |

Owl
COLONY ASSISTANT
Wise and old (well, not that old). Really
kind to us. Has good ideas for activities.

Fox
YOUNG LEADER
Bestest Leader ever! He's cool and looks
like a fox. Really clever. Good at raising money. |
Falcon
YOUNG LEADER
Our other Young Leader. Just like the bird, he's
quick-thinking and adapts well to different situations.
Be well behaved in case he swoops! |
Otter
HELPER / COLONY ASSISTANT (PROV.)
He is new and so funny. He doesn't stop laughing. He is
very playful, just like real otters. He's very kind to us
and makes things easy to understand. |

Eeyore

Very happy and grateful when people are nice to him.
